After many weeks / months of trying to finalise venues etc, we can finally announce details of this years Glasgow Mod Weekender.

Programme of events:

Thursday 26th June:

9pm till 1am - The Twisted Wheel, 73 Queen St, G1 3BZ (0141 221 4851)
Friday Street DJ's plus guests on the decks, also a live set of authentic Rhythm and Blues and Ska from Glasgow band Rico's Torpedo.

Friday 27th June:

The Winchester Club, 49 Bell St, Merchant City, G1 1NX (0141 552 3586)
9.30pm till 3am, Admission £6
Weekender residents plus guests spin top quality Modernist tunes in 2 rooms.

Saturday 28th June (afternoon):

Mid-day till 5pm - The Twisted Wheel, 73 Queen St, G1 3BZ
Live music from the fantasic Five Aces (www.thefive aces.co.uk) plus guest DJ's over 2 floors.
Also record and clothes stalls all day.

Big changes venue wise this year, we have used McChuills since the year 2003 for our daytime events, now we are in The Twisted Wheel which is equally as good and we have music over two floors for the first time in the afternoons.

After two years in The Brunswick Hotel we have now secured The Winchester Club
for our Friday and Saturday night events. ( forget the Arthur Daley jokes, heard far too many already ).
This is by far the best venue we have ever had for any Friday Street event, cool as f**k !
